Located just at the popular food centre in Singapore.

& what is the must try over there?
THE BBQ SEAFOOD. Period.

Fresh Seafood on display for you foodies to pick.

Before the feasting begins. But first #letustakeaselfie.

 Can't wait to dig in!

 Baby Kailan $6/ $8/ $12
Look at the super green leaves.
I am not a kailan person but this just taste so good with the oyster sauce!

 Salted Egg Chicken $15 / $20 / $25
Can we have salted egg everything?
Do you know you can customize anything you like in Hai Yan BBQ?
You can even ask for Salted Egg Kailan, I bet they will do it for you. HAHA.

Close up shot of my favorite dish!

 Sambal Sotong $12 / $15 / $25
This is everyones favorite. Love its scculent texture.
Sotong can be overcook easily which can turned out to be hard to chew and very hard.
But this is just nice. I remember my first bite, its like those crunchy soft kinda feeling.
Anyhow, its just so easy to chew.

Level of spiciness can be adjusted too,
if you like extra spicy or you can't take spiciness, just tell the chef!
 Garlic Butter Prawns $8 / 100g
Super huge prawns, look at my dear Cindy Nah below.

If you are a garlic lover, this dish is specially for you.

Cindy helping us with the prawns.
She took the meat out from the shell for us.
Hehe, so we just wait for the food to be placed on our plates :D
& According to her, it was super easy to peel out.
They say, if the prawn doesnt stick to the shell = very fresh!

 Lala $12 / $15 / $20
Who wants lala in chilli crab sauce?
*HANDS UP*

 Sambal Stingray $12 / $15 / $20
This is one of the legendary hawker food in Singapore.
When you are here, you can't miss this.
Whenever my oversea friends come over, this is the only thing they crave so much!

HOW TO EAT THIS:
You have to squeeze the lime on top of the sambal stingray.
Take a bit of meat with onion and dip it in their homemade "habihiam sauce".

 Nobody can resist sambal stingray.
The charcoal, the banana leaf............. with the lime.
They wrap the stingray with banana leaf and put it over the charcoal to slowly bbq it.
It has this chaotah smell which I like!

Look at the lower left of the pic above, that is the "habihiam suace" I'm talking about.

Last but not least, the king of all.
BLACK PEPPER CRAB $5 / 100g
Need I say more???
Just head down and try it yourself, right?

Oh this, remember when I said you could have salted egg everything?
Guess what is this? I made it myself.
SALTED EGG STINGRAY IN SAMBAL SAUCE.
Surprisingly, it doesnt taste bad, Cindy said it taste like salted egg crab. Haha.

By the end of the dinner.
Btw, all the dishes above are all eaten by 6 girls. We really can eat.
