Dinner at Paris

Happy Birthday at L'ABEILLE.

Actually, I didn't Book L'abelle for my BF's birthday dinner. I actually booked Le Diane at Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet's. Successfully made my booking online few weeks before the actual date. BUT to our horror, the restaurant was closed when we were there!!! There wasn't any emails or whatsoever to let us know about it. Imagine how lost I was.

Luckily, there was this superb staff at the hotel restaurant to assist us. He calmed us down, handed us a glass of champagne each and introduce me to a restaurant his best friend works at. He told us it was hard to get a table there and then ask us to relax while he makes the arrangement.

Thanks to him, we went to L'abeille at Shangri-La Paris.

Named in homage of Napoleon's favourite emblem, the bee, our French gastronomic restaurant, L'Abeille, offers sophisticated cuisine made by Executive Chef Christophe Moret.

In an enchanting atmosphere next to the garden, L'Abeille promises to reveal new emotions in aesthetics and flavours through hallmarks of culinary excellence including exceptional products and technique.

One cannot simply end their dinner without desserts!

SO YUMMY!

Cake pops!

The helpful host helped us to take a pic in the garden with the Eiffel Tower view!

A little love from L'abeille <3 for the BF.

Overall, the staff and ambience were fantastic. Towards the end of the dinner, the main chef even visited our table for a chat!
Would love to visit again if I ever go back to Paris again (:
